Case Study - Brides up North
Brides Up North is one of the leading UK wedding blogs, created especially for brides in the north of the country.
Requirements
Julia, the creator of Brides Up North, approached us in 2010 when she originally decided to create a blog that focused on wedding in the north of the UK. Since it’s initial launch the site has undergone a few makeovers and design changes.
Built in WordPress the site allows Julie to easily add and maintain the posts on her website and also moderate the comments that people leave on the various articles.
Alongside the blogging functionality, a custom build directory was created which allows for users to find wedding suppliers for anything from accessories & decorations to photographers and wedding venues.
When Julia decided to branch out and start hosting wedding fairs we helped by feeding this information into the website and developing a section that allows for all wedding fairs to be listed and for people to be able to register their interest in an event as both a guest and an exhibitor.
